About Us:
We are a family adventure hotel and offer exotic jungle, Mayan Ruin and Jaguar Reserve trips, as well as snorkeling, scuba, and fishing trips with the best local licensed guides.

Holiday accomodations available include beachfront airconditioned rooms and thatch roof cabanas.

Facilities & Services:
The Blue Crab Resort is a small and very private hotel. Accommodations include two thatch roof cabañas and four air conditioned rooms nestled in the palms, all located on the beach.

Two of the air conditioned rooms have a double and a single bed, and open porches; two have two double beds and a screened in porch. They have hardwood floors and are trimmed in local mohogany. Private bath with hot water and tub as well as shower and personal coffee/tea makers. The A/C rooms are 80 feet from the Caribbean Sea, surrounded by seagrape and palm trees.

The cabanas have two double beds, private bath with hot and cold water, two fans in each cabana, thatch roofs, hardwood floors, private porches with a sea view, screened windows and they are located within 50 feet of the Caribbean Sea.

We provide a wide range of activities to make your visit a memorable one. Our private beach on the Caribbean provides safe bathing, snorkeling, fishing, sunbathing, whale watching, sailing and red macaw trips. Boat trips to the Barrier Reef for snorkeling , scuba, fishing or sightseeing can easily be arranged. Day trips to the Jaguar Reserve and Mayan ruins are also available. Local businesses rent canoes and kayaks. There are local dive shops renting equipment and most of the dive operators rent snorkeling and dive equipment.

Reservation Policy:
A non-refundable 10% deposit with the Tropical Travel Association is required in order to confirm your reservation. The 90% balance is due to the hotel upon arrival. In special circumstances Blue Crab Resort has the right to apply additional requirements as long as they do so before the 10% deposit is paid.

Of Special Note:
We are located near Seine Bight, a flat, sandy coastal village about ten feet above sea level and stretches four miles along the Placencia Peninsula. It is one of the five Garinagu communities in the Stann Creek District, located about 68 miles south of Belize City, about 30 miles south of Dangriga, 19 miles from off the Southern Highway near South Stann Creek and 5 miles from Placencia.

How to find us.
Regular flights are available several times a day to and from Belize City and the International airport. We will pick you up and return you to the local airport (Placencia Airport) free with your stay.
