Facilities & Services:
Our primary objective is to provide our guests with privacy, peace and solitude within a natural setting.

Our accommodations include three distinct styles: Forestview, Mayan & Riverview cottages. Our six cottages are clean, comfortable and have private bathrooms with hot showers.

  1. Our Riverview cottages overlook the Little Vaqueros creek with screened-in porches and hammocks for our guests' privacy.
  2. The Mayan cottages are large native-style freestanding cottages, built with materials gathered from the forest, including thatched roofs.
  3. The Forestview cottage enjoys the sound of our bubbling river, the Little Vaqueros Creek, and a breathtaking vista of the surrounding forest.

Orchids throughout the area add color to the lodge's accommodations.

Reservation Policy:
A non-refundable 10% deposit with the Tropical Travel Association is required in order to confirm your reservation. The 90% balance is due to the hotel upon arrival. In special circumstances Pine Ridge Lodge has the right to apply additional requirements as long as they do so before the 10% deposit is paid.

Of Special Note:
Certainly one of the main attractions of Pine Ridge Lodge is its proximity to the towering Mayan ruins of Caracol. Just 33 miles from the site, Pine Ridge Lodge is the last stop for an ice cold beer on the road to Caracol. No other resort is closer.

Archaeologists estimate that at its height, Caracol supported a population of 185,000, covered an area of 75 square miles, and defeated the city of Tikal to become the foremost Mayan city of its day. Only a partially excavated city deep in the broadleaf jungle remains today, but the essence of the mighty city is there for explorers of all interests and backgrounds to appreciate.

How to find us.
Find Pine Ridge Lodge on the map of Cayo District From Belize City: take the Western Highway west toward San Ignacio. At mile 61-62 is the turn off for the Mountain Pine Ridge, within the village of Georgeville. Hopefully there is still a sign for Pine Ridge Lodge on the right hand side of the Western Highway.

Turn left and continue on this road, past the entrance (gate), to the Forest Reserve, a total of approximately 15 miles, until you see Pine Ridge Lodge on your right side. From San Ignacio: after crossing the Hawkesworth Bridge turn right onto the San Antonio/Cristo Rey Road. You will continue on this road, past the junction with the Georgeville Road, past the entrance (gate) to the Forest Reserve, a total of approximately 19 miles, until you see Pine Ridge Lodge on your right side.
