Soulshine Resort & Spa is a small intimate resort. We are the only resort in the village of Placencia with the uniqueness of the ability to be located on a private island yet after crossing a small inlet from the ocean be a five minute walk to the laid back village of Placencia.
Also, being situated at the very point of Placencia relax by the only swimming pool in the village and enjoy the breath taking view of the sun setting over the Caribbean sea and the bordering Mayan Mountain Range.
Facilities & Services:
Our spacious authentic thatched cabanas are equipped with various configurations with optional amenities such as microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, fresh water, full bath, air conditioning, various configuration of bedding and a relaxing front porch to sit and watch the world go by.
Sit in one of our European spa tubs or enjoy a wonderful massage, facial, wrap and more out by the ocean in our wonderful thatched roof, Mexican tiled spa room. Our spa technician is internationally trained and experienced in herbs, aroma therapy, hot stone and vious massage techniques along with an array of experience.
Our restaurant and bar offer a light fare menu during the day and a full course menu in the evening. Meals range from local dishes and seafood to specialty vegetarian and vegan. Sip a wonderful glass of wine, or quench your thirst with a icy margarita or fruity Pina Colada.
We offer a beautiful, private beach area with a wonderful view of the Caribbean sea and the southern coast of Belize. Our fresh water swimming pool is serviced by the "sunset bar and grill" through out the day .
We can assist you in group and individual packages, from airfare to specialty trips to the Cayes and Tikal.

Prices include 9% hotel tax and a 10% service charge.
Transfers to and from Placencia airstrip are included in the rate of 2 night stay minimum.
Activities:
We are the leading tour operators in the area offering many land based trips directly from our resort and with our own guide or driver.
We offer many trips that we do not individually price but package with other trips such as, San Ignacio butterfly farm, One thousand foot falls, Five Sisters Lake National park, Ix Chel nature walk and herb farm, Blue Hole National Park at Caves Branch, shopping in San Ignacio, Red Bank for the Scarlet Macaw breeding, banana farm tours and many other trips. We drive an average 200 hundred times through the country of Belize a year and can show you many of its wonderful cultural sites, tastes and sounds.
Our land excursions are normally transported in a four door, air conditioned vehicle that is very comfortable and gives a personal trip with no more then four passengers
Reservation Policy:
A non-refundable 10% deposit with the Tropical Travel Association is required in order to confirm your reservation. The 90% balance is due to the hotel upon arrival. In special circumstances Soulshine Resort has the right to apply additional requirements as long as they do so before the 10% deposit is paid.
